Oh I forgot to mention, that bottle of Johnny Walker Blue that Jody found in Bobby's things, comes back into play in a future (several seasons forward) episode. It's pretty cool continuity.

It seems to me that Dean gets the majority of time travel eps because... with Jensen's classic looks and reactions... he fits so well in any time period. (Plus, I think he can carry solo better.) Also really love the Sam & Jody team-up.

2023-11-07 04:13:17 +0000 UTCI love love love this episode! Jensen is so HOT! But I do have to say for a show that does damn good research they dropped the ball on Elliot Ness. He was never a cop, never worked for the City of Canton. He was the Public Safety Director for the nearby City of Cleveland for 10 years and did have a tendency to drink too much, the consequences which cost him his job in Cleveland. ETA: Of course any episode with Jody is also a win.
