Jenna's death hurts so dam much :( I cried with you again Liam. This episode is done so well, one of the best of TVD for sure... Feel terrible for Ric, Jeremy and Elena, specially elena seeing her parents grave was so heartbreaking. I must say the writers are really good in putting great music at the right time in the whole show, skinny love the song played at the funeral and when elena reads johns letter is so fitting that makes me more emotional. TVD music is always the best. Anyways happy new year to you Liam and to all here :) Cant wait for the finale reaction and S3 which is truly one of the best seasons of the show super excited!

Hope you had a great Christmas and will have a wonderful new year Liam! I forgot how epic this episode is - Bonnie performing that spell in the quarry legit gave me chills haha. Klaus' confession and Elijah's change of heart was very well done. Jenna's death is one that probably has the most impact for the show and you'll see why as the series progresses. Excited for the finale and to head in S3 :)

This season for me was the most gripping of all the seasons of Vampire Diaries. Not that any of the further seasons aren’t great as they are but this one is still shrouded in mysteries as you don’t know all the lore and history of the Vampires and Warewolves. The show really grew into a great show with this season. I am looking forward to your continued journey down into the Vampire Diaries Universe. Great reaction and a Happy new year to you. 2024 will be a great year of reactions to this show and all others you are watching.

I can't blame Elijah. I'm biased because he's one of my favorite characters, but all of our favorite characters do questionable things sometimes. Like Damon killing Mason was completely unnecessary. It's part of what makes the characters so complex and fascinating. And as much of a prick Klaus is, he's someone you reluctantly go from loving to hate to hating to love.

I can forgive Elijah for his change of heart, for what he did. We have to understand that -- just like Elena and her family/friends, just like Damon & Stefan's brotherhood -- Elijah is wanting his family to be okay. For so long he believed them to be forever beyond his reach and unable to be saved, and now he is given a glimmer of hope. How can we be angry with him when we understand and accept why Elena, Damon, Stefan, Bonnie, Jeremy....ALL of them...why they have made the choices they have to try to save people they love? Elijah is simply doing the same thing. Klaus, on the other hand, is caring purely about saving himself and gaining power, just like Katherine is all about self-preservation no matter who gets hurt or killed. I would have liked Greta's death to be a lot slower. Evil hag. For THAT, Lucas and Jonas planned, worried, desperately searched, and ultimately lost their lives. When all along, the hag was happily serving Klaus and didn't GAF about her brother and father. I know they couldn't kill her earlier to prevent the ritual because then they would all have to deal with a vengeful Klaus, but she still deserved a much more painful demise.

Yes, this is a rough one, and we all have to go through it to get to the other side.
