QnA March
Added 2024-03-01 21:55:30 +0000 UTCHey all. I did one of these back in January and was meant to do them frequently 😅 But I could also do with the distraction since my PC has been a pain all day not working right (which is why YR will drop tomorrow) so hit me some questions. Can be anything from the stuff I’ve watched, Comic Con is this month (eek), stuff outside of reacting

I can't believe that I forgot the Buckets... or should I say, Bouquets. Always made me laugh. I've heard of Doc Martin, always meant to check it out... so thank you for the recommendation!

2024-03-03 06:20:25 +0000 UTCDoc Martin ran until 2022; it was my mom's favorite, and I loved it as well. It's set in modern times in a rural English town, and the comedy is subtle. More like a dramedy than a full-on comedy. Most of my favorites tend to be the older ones (like Red Dwarf, Ab Fab, Jeeves & Wooster....you have great taste, and totally agree with the Colin Firth P&P!) as I haven't seen any new series for awhile. I think I need to browse through my Britbox subscription to see what's new out there. Though if you haven't seen Keeping Up Appearances (1990-95), I recommend it highly.

2024-03-03 03:35:57 +0000 UTCVery much agree with this sentiment. Besides being a fan of Doctor Who & Torchwood... when I was younger, I was really into Red Dwarf, Ab Fab, Spaced, Jeeves & Wooster. (As well as Prime Suspect, Cracker, Bad Girls, The 1995 Pride & Prejudice with Colin Firth that still sets the standard, anything Agatha Christie.) Not really familiar with modern Britcoms though. I watched The IT Crowd thru another fave reactor (thought it had highs & lows)... but even that is over 15 years old. What's a good modern Britcom?

2024-03-03 03:04:01 +0000 UTCWell, yes, Doctor Who IS rather great, no argument there, LOL. I trailed off somwhere in the middle (I watch way too many shows), and I need to get back to the beginning and watch it over again so that I can pick back up where I left off. Though I haven't watched more than the pilot of classic Who, and at some point, I really should watch that as well. If you ever decide to react in future to a Britcom, I can suggest a list from which you could make a poll. 😁

2024-03-02 17:31:07 +0000 UTCI’ll have to get back to you on that one and scour throw the Disney stuff on things I have seen (to give you an idea on what I haven’t seen)

2024-03-02 12:50:25 +0000 UTCI mean I don’t think there’s much British stuff I’ve really watched overall I didnt really pay too much mind to TV before reactions and your opening statement is something I would entertain if the people wanted it. In terms of British stuff, my favourite goes without saying doesn’t it 😅 But you know, I’ve been watching the new Gladiators which is ace. I can’t really think of too much from the top of my head. I know I used to see the odd soap operas from time to time but I wasn’t really into them

2024-03-02 12:45:30 +0000 UTCThat would be great. I'm obsessed with the comedy show My Family and the drama series New Tricks. But i've seen so many others.

2024-03-02 05:19:45 +0000 UTCI subscribed to Britbox, too! I'm currently obsessed with Poirot. I would love to re-visit some of my favorite British series with some of my favorite reactors, like Liam.
RavenLord
2024-03-02 03:07:49 +0000 UTCI love British comedies and shows. I actually just signed up for Britbox, so I can watch more of them. It would be great to see Liam react to them too.

2024-03-02 00:32:55 +0000 UTCIs there nothing to be done about yer Voyage of the Dawn Treader reaction? Is it just kaput?

2024-03-01 23:09:38 +0000 UTCWhat are some Disney/Pixar movies you haven't seen??
Alyssa Bernd
2024-03-01 23:04:06 +0000 UTCSince I find very few reactors -- even none it's fair to say -- who do Britcoms, I'm wondering how you feel about ever doing some British comedies in the distant future? Either ones you never got around to watching, or sharing a re-watch of some of your favorties. I have to confess I'm quite the anglophile when it comes to Britcoms and happily watch them over and over, as well as period/historical dramas and the like. I guess the main question, though, is what are some of *your* favorite British programmes?
RavenLord
2024-03-01 22:33:28 +0000 UTCI cannot assure what movie I'll react to in the future asides from stuff I have chosen personally because I run a poll that is decided on a weekly basis depending which movie is the most voted at the time. (which you can check in my movie posts (Check A Few Good Men posted last week for the new poll for March/April). If you have a specific movie, you have the option to add it into the poll itself :)

2024-03-01 22:16:02 +0000 UTCNot my actual 1 question Can we ask a question regarding what you'll be reacting to in the future movie/TV show and can requests me made?
