
Hey hey! Time for the second and last progress report for 0.04!
And if you haven't seen it already, I've recently posted a Roadmap for Lewd Falls, make sure to check it out!

As said in Progress Report #6 and stated in the Roadmap, this update will be more focused on improving and reworking the combat.
Previously, I only mentioned the key features that will change and didn't show too much of it, so here's a few peeks! (But only the silhouettes for now, tehe~)
Starting with the bats:
As previously mentioned, you will be able to upgrade the original bat and craft two different bats.
The main reasons for that is:
In the previous versions, after reaching a high level, Dipper was getting too strong and basically one-shoting everything, and that could make the game boring on future combat contents.
While I'm not exactly taking this away for those who like it, if you want to play it like that it will be more of a "High Risk-High Reward" situation.
And that brings me to the second reason, that it was to offer a better variety to the combat!
Some players might want a harder but strong build to progress, while others might want a more balanced build, where you don't need to take such risks to progress.
And of course, it would not be a "Combat Update" without new enemies!
For this update, I'm adding 3 new enemies, and a new boss.
They are original designs made by me, with one exception, that some of you might recognize who it is~
They will be added together with new explorable areas in the forest.
COMBAT:
With the addition of new bats (and upgrades for the base one), new skills will also be added for Dipper, based on the bat he is currently using. (Some skills will be available on all bats)
As previously mentioned, Mabel's skills will get a rework so she will act more as a support character in combat, while Dipper will be the main damage dealer.
With the tweaks to the combat attributes of Dipper/Mabel, support items were also reworked.
Now after progressing in the game, the combat around the first areas of the forest will also offer more variety of enemies.
NEW CONTENT AND TWEAKS:
I want the player to feel rewarded for farming monsters or exploring/doing quests, so the entire economy of the game received a rework, from the prices of the monsters loot to even the name of the currency!
Vaulty, Cammy, Calli and Gura will receive new story content. (New quests and scenes)
Calli/Gura's previous questline were reworked to better fit their new content.
Major tweaks to the game's UI so everything follows the same style.
VISUALS:
Following 0.03 visual tweaks for Dipper, Mabel and Pacifica, 0.04 will also bring a few visual tweaks to old characters, so they will keep up with my current art style.
The characters this time are Vaulty, Cammy, Gura and Calli.
Vaulty will be receiving a bit more than a few tweaks, since her art was quite a bit outdated compared to the rest. (She's a character from 0.01, and also one of the first ones that I did for the game!)
(I'm always learning new things about drawing and trying to improve my art, so please bear with me on this!)

Before someone asks about a release date, I will be refraining from saying it for now, since I don't want to repeat what happened on 0.02 and 0.03 (saying a date and then having to delay it)
But I will say that it should not take too long now!
