Regarding the Matsuri Animation
Added 2024-04-08 03:09:25 +0000 UTCI wish I didn't have to make this post, but I need to be upfront.
The Matsuri animation, for now, is indefinitely cancelled. I will be giving a complete reasoning as to why below. I wish to make it up to you guys somehow, and am still thinking of a proper way to do so. I will be releasing what I had of the animation (and all of it's WIPs) for free (without any of the effects, which will be explained why below).
The reasoning is as follows:
My computer specs are an i5-8400, a 1060, and 16 GB of RAM.
For those of you who don't understand, my computer is running off of hardware from around 7-8 years ago.
Now, I am able to render animations, as you know, but I cannot do nearly any particle systems at all. Now, for the Matsuri animation, that is exactly what I planned. I had thought that I would be able to scrape by somehow, but I was very much wrong.
With only two very basic particle systems active, it took my computer around an hour and a half to render 40 frames. Out of an animation with exactly 1312 frames of animation, 701 of those having a particle system. This is without the lighting, mind you. Not only that, but I would have many more particle systems due to how I had to implement them. Specifically, I have to re-append the particle system every time I need a new spurt, which is constantly because the particle system has a specific amount of frames it can run for before running out (and it cannot be reset).
Now, theoretically, I could technically indeed render the whole animation with the systems and lighting. However, I want to bring to light a couple of things:
1. I was having a lot of trouble with the model and it's mesh, which were causing so many problems that I was ready to simply ignore them all and hope no one noticed.
2. I would have to hand animate every particle system (parenting them broke them).
3. The render time would, realistically speaking, if I dedicated the rendering to nighttime by leaving my computer on overnight every night to render, would be probably at least months. I would have to leave it overnight, as I need my computer for other things.
I am unable to justify the timesink for the quality of the animation, which I do not think is up to my current standards, so I have decided to cancel it and come back to it another time.
Thank you for understanding, and do not be afraid to suggest ways I can make up for wasting your time and giving you false hope.

2024-07-12 08:01:10 +0000 UTCShould I update the hardware? Why not consider it? Anyway I'm a VTuber again. New erotic work Please make it. Mince or REDroom I can't see Matsuri's works. Although it is unfortunate It doesn't mean it never happened completely. It feels like someday again Matsuri-chan will also be waiting patiently. I'm looking forward to the new release.
