Second December video. Actually got a long way through the edit this afternoon, so should be easily on track for tomorrow afternoon unless someone points out a glaring factual oversight or there's a big announcement in the morning rendering a huge chunk of this dated.

2019-12-13 03:00:17 +0000 UTCRegarding your point around 14:00, I do know of one commercially-released "workprint" in original Blade Runner. The 5-Disc Special Edition of the Final Cut includes the "workprint" cut of the film which famously revived interest in it when it was shown in a few theaters in the early 90s, spurring the release of the 1992 "Directors Cut". That said, the Blade Runner "workprint" is very close to a finished film to the point where the people who saw the showings of it saw that it was clearly superior to the original theatrical release. The special edition also includes 47 minutes of outtakes edited together to follow the outline of the film, like an extra miniature cut of the film. That said, this example definitely falls under the "special edition" classification as these were not sold except as a package with other commercially released versions of the film.
