Interesting Fruits to swell into

Howdy! I don't often do a whole lotta stuff outside of blueberry/blue-adjacent swelling so I wanted to go a bit beyond that and select fruits I never really drawn/only drew once, along with a bit of personal thoughts on what each inflation would look like :]

You can read the notes included in each for yourself, or just focus on the fruit shapes themselves, either or is alright. I think my favorites to draw were the watermelon and the fig. The former because it was fun to envision what a firm, watermelon-rind-like inflation would look like. And the latter because I enjoyed the shape and texture.

I think fig would also be interesting considering how dense the seeds in figs are and how there isn't really juice, along with a thicker skin. Also I highly recommend looking up Java Apples, they're so fun looking, almost like if an apple had a pear shape and a pink color! I wanted to draw someone with that shape/waxy finish.

Anyways, I hope yall enjoy this month's pie tier! My birthday is this weekend so I'm going to be a bit busy/take some much needed Me Time from my irl job and patreon work (for once I got something done early to post ahead of time HAHA >:D) Nevertheless, I hope yall have a good weekend too :]

I was thinking that might be the case, I’d think it would take a long time to go back to normal though, even if you tapped them you’d have to wait until their skin softened until they could fully go back to normal. Berry lore is great lol.

Probably the melon, fig might just be in for a really seedy juicing

I'd like to imagine they need to be tapped similar to how one gets maple syrup from a tree! Except instead of sap its juice lol

I often wonder how someone who has swelled into a watermelon would get back to normal since the skin is so thick and the inside so much harder than other fruits.

Love the textures on mango/dragonfruit. Which do you think takes longer to juice, the watermelon or the fig?
