December Muffin Sketches

Hellooo there :>

I am finally free from my current semester of college courses and now i must stave off the ennui and anxiety of awaiting my final grades lol

So, we have (jazz hands) fruit and a new oc because crafting lil guys will forever be a favorite pasttime :D

#1: Shun and Everette (except Everette is very small and blue)
- Microblueberry time. Idk if its because its cold out and ive been slightly stressed recently, but the idea of holding a berried micro eases my weary brain. So i drew my emotional support weirdos. I also wanted to try and see if i could spice things up with poses through Shun. I feel like I've been limited by my shapes lately. Unfortunately theres only so many angles to pick from with a rounded fruit lol. So i offset that with drawing interesting poses. I hope to expand upon those a bit further/be more weird.

#2, 3 +4: Lawyer who will defend eccentric candy-makers for some gum
- [Infomercial voice] ARE YOU AN OWNER OF A CANDY FACTORY OR AN ADJACENT PROFESSION? DO YOU HAVE OUTSTANDING LAWSUITS FOR YOUR FACTORY TOURS GONE WRONG? CALL VIOREL BEAUMONTE NOW!!!! So I was chatting with a friend about an idea for a lawyer whose main thing is dealing with cases for *onka types in exchange for gum that makes you into a oversized fruit. I imagine he had an inciting incident that really kicked his once-was fascination into a high-gear blueberry fetish. He currently is (in my friends words) the pet twink of someone with wayyy too many copyright lawsuits from Wonka brand. Outside his work, he gets bouts of guilt over his vehement defenses of these Wonka bootlegs/derivatives so he can get his rocks off as a giant blueberry in his leisure time buttttttttt he quickly buries that guilt with retail therapy and laying face-down on the floor at night. I hope to do a bit more with him, maybe modifying his design here and there as time goes on.

# 5: Begonia bullying Fabrice hours
- More fruit pervert! This was mainly a warmup but im not immune to teasing a fruit with a bit of peril :] Im finally working on my sketchy outlines for my comic again. Ive reached the start of the inflation and now its time to figure out angles/perspectives. I also made a new friend for Fabrice but Im gonna refrain from posting about them....for now.

#6+7: Dentist Yaoi (Smile For Me Fanart)
- I discovered this game several years late but ougjjhh i love Smile for Me. Its so charming and the artstyle is so appealing to my brain goblins. I think Habit and Kamal would be into the fruit stuff haha. So have a short sequence of these two.

#8: Traditional sketches to test a new pen set
- I decided to treat myself with some brand new penssssss (some of the colors suck but oh well ill figure out a use for them.) Theyre mainly earthy/nude tones, lots of pinks, browns, tans, and ochres. I know I drew some blueberry advert/posters with non-blue colors which feels like a sin almost but I think it'd be fun to imagine them as faded vintage magazine adverts. The fox/wolf boy was mainly me wanting to draw a distended belly, perhaps post-gorging or the onset of bloating. I miss doing sketches where I dont mind details too much, mostly focusing on form/shape as a general thing.

Anyways, I hope you enjoy this week's goofy art. Im gonna go take a lonnngggg nap and work out the stress my hands and back are under from being hunched over a keyboard writing essays at a manic pace. (And then I will work on my blueberry pie tier art :])
