February Pie Tier: "Bacchus Labs: Pioneering the Future of Fruit"

BEHOLD! SEVEN BERRIES OF VARYING SIZES, A FRESH SETTING MY BRAIN CONJURED, AND BACK/FOREGROUND ELEMENTS!

ohhhhh my goodness this image took me roughly two weeks to complete and still I can see things I would have definitely redone/redid a different way but nevertheless it was an idea I finally put onto a canvas and fleshed out!

So the story behind this illustration for this month:
I had been thinking of a more sci-fi setting for awhile but didn't want to resort to a factory and after some thinking, I came to the idea of "Bacchus Laboratories". I haven't quite figured out what their primary goal is yet but I'm caught between

A.) Labs curated to study a transformative phenomenon known as 'berrification' and perhaps figure out applications for it in the field of agriculture, food science, and chemical engineering.

B.) People essentially signing a contract to test weird fruit-flavored products that just so happen to keep turning people into blueberries so they're transported to the lab to either be fixed/studied further.

If I am to never elaborate on it again in the future, at least I got the primary points I kept ruminating over down in an illustrative way!

Honestly I think my favorite part was trying to emulate a sort of 'labratory/office building' vibe without disregarding its purpose being to house and transport berried people to and fro.

if some of these people/characters look familiar its because my friends were nice enough to let me use their sonas/ocs in this :D the boy wedged in the door is just a random design though, I thought pink would stand out the best in that spot so I went for a pink-haired boy! (separate from my lad, Poff, thought lol)
