CH7 Release Date

I’m going to do some playtesting over the next couple days and have CH7 uploaded on March 27/28.

Alright, I’m wrapping this thing up now. Once I missed the second release window I kinda just said “Fuck it” and started adding all the animations and extra images that I was going to cut to get it out fast enough. So I just shut up and got to work.

That being said I’m going to start doing smaller updates. On discord I got called out in hero chat, rightfully so, for trying to make every chapter bigger/better in scope than the last. Which has caused me to keep thinking "Oh yeah I can do this in X weeks” without acknowledging the fact that I’m trying to do the equivalent art/writing of chapters 1-3 in one chapter. Which is just dumb of me.

You can expect to see me use more of the overworld sprites for the in-between dialogue in future releases. Reposing Aki and co to make the same/similar expressions every new scene is just a very poor use of time when I could be using that to make more porn. I really understand now why visual novels do that.

Despite all of that, I’m so happy I made this game. From the beginning THR Aki was always my learning project for all aspects of game development and man, have I learned a lot.
