Poll! Future Draw Steel Products!

Hey folks, Matt Colville at your service.

A while ago we polled y'all about future adventure content, and Crack the Sun won! Well, we know what happened next. A whole crowdfunder happened!

Well we're not about to put any new products into production in the next few months. We got enough to do already! But I thought it would be fun to poll y'all and the Crack the Sun backers about potential future products. Mostly just by category, but in the case of setting material, we get specific.

This is a ranked choice poll! So you gotta drag the options around until the one you want the most is at the top, and the option you're interested in least is at the bottom.

For some reason, MS forms assumes this is a TEST and no matter what you answer, it will tell you you FAILED. lol. No idea why it does that, cannot figure out how to fix it. Just be happy I didn't turn the "background music" option on!

If you need a refresher on the different settings, here you go!

Vasloria is MCDM's medieval European analog. This is the place with knights in shining armor and wizard towers and baronies and castles and swamps and dangerous forests and rolling farmlands. It's human-dominated but there's elves and dwarves and faeries and goblins and kobolds running around. Memonek and Time Raiders? Not so much.

Vasloria is about as big as all of Europe, so any future product would cover the different areas (Aendrim, Corwell, Tull, Vašra, etc...) only broadly, and then zoom in one on part with a lot more detail. That 'zoomed-in' part would probably be Omund's Land, the area ruled by Good King Omund that includes most of Aendrim, and parts of Corwell and Graid. If you know about Dalrath and Bedegar, those are places in Omund's Land.

Equinox is one of the worlds you'll be visiting in Crack the Sun. It's an elf-world ruled by the shadow elves and their demi-god patrons, the twilight celestials. It's also the home of gnomes and the skarjj. It's a thick, vibrant jungle world with tons of biodiversity and lots of predation! The skies are filled with flying creatures of every kind, the floor of this jungle world is deadly with many predatory species big and small.

Equinox is a world of eternal twilight, never noon nor midnight in that feral land.

Capital! The Greatest City in This or Any Age! The City of the Great Game! The setting for the Chain of Acheron livestream; a massive, sprawling multicultural, multiethnic fantasy metropolis where the Great Houses wage a cold war against the upstart Merchant Guilds for control of the city.

Timescape: The Upper Worlds. This would cover places like Alloy, The City at the Center of the Timescape, as well as Ordos, the capital city of Axiom home of the memonek. Primordius, the Sea of Eternal Change, home to the proteans. More info on Time Raiders, starships, and space gods like XXAXX!

The lower worlds like Hell and the Abyss might come later, but Equinox is a lower world and we're already going there.

That's it folks! I just thought this would be a fun activity for all of us over the break. Thanks for reading!

Peace, out!

More Monsters is the key for those of us who create our own adventures.

I’m sure this is going to get buried, but I needed to express just how much I need this particular type of product (literally upgraded my membership to send this message), please make a Where Evil Lives like book for DS. The mini lairs and boss monsters were so useful when I was running 5e. And it would be an amazing companion to the Encounters book coming out.
