Keith Chegwin, Unlikely Livestreaming Pioneer

With streaming now becoming bigger on the Internet than ever, it's a fun time to examine its weird origins. And it doesn't get more odd than this -- in 2001, fresh off an ill-advised visit to a certain Naked Jungle, UK TV host Keith Chegwin became one of the first people to go out there and stream from his bedroom to thousands of people! Here's a little look at Cheggers' Bedroom and the joys that lay within.

He always annoyed me when he was in his prime, but after seeing how well he was able to parody his own fall from stardom in Extras and the amazing Viz documentary (where he finds a ball on a beach and tells of how he can get 20p for it), I found an all-new respect for the guy. He clearly took adversity in his stride. What a star!

I never knew I needed a retrospective of Cheggers career soundtracked by Landstalker but I'm glad I got it.
