So What Happened? (Changes to Patreon Update)
Added 2020-04-16 18:40:27 +0000 UTCWell, the long and short of it is that my dad passed away.
It's okay. I'm fine. And I'm not really saying it to ply for sympathy. It happened in late December, a day before what would have been his birthday. This is the first time I've mentioned it anywhere online. I hadn't been close to him since my teens, and in fact had been estranged from him for most of my life, but the news still hit me hard. I found it difficult to work, and snowballed month after month as the burden of shame grew. It's a familiar pattern with me and my brand of anxiety. The weight of pressure starts to feel insurmountable, until it's easier to run away from the source rather than try to overcome my problems.
So... sorry about that. The patreon lay dormant while I was working through a number of things, and I should have notified you all. In all honesty I just didn't know what to say.
So what have I been doing in the interim?
Well, I've recently published a collection of short stories: Tales of Spank City, an ebook available through Amazon. Buy it now if you're jonesing for spank action. Altogether it's my longest work yet at 27,000 words, and priced at only $2.99.
I've done the odd commission here and there. Expect them to be posted here at the end of the month.
I've joined the Kemo Coliseum team as a freelancer, and will be penning the occassional sidequest for them.
I've formed a spanking furry telegram group (which is freely available to join) that can be found here: https://t.me/TailWhackers
And mostly just trying to get back on track.
I'm unsure at present if this patreon will continue in a similar capacity as it did before. More likely it will serve as an aggregate for my work each month. I've decided to keep it up for now, but will only send out paid posts when I feel I have enough content to justify them (thuogh the goal will still be monthly). The idea of the patreon now is a way to support what I do, for those who want to. All patrons also get first dibs on commissioning me, should they wish to do that. But, for now at least, this patreon will no longer host exclusive content. If you feel unable to justify the dollar per month expenditure for that then I'd encourage you to unsubscribe, with no hard feelings, of course. Things got a lil bumpy.
Beyond concerns of the patreon, I hope all my subscribers are staying safe and have the proper support in these uncertain times. It's a scary world out there, and we all need to depend on each other. Now, more than ever.

I'm sorry for your loss. Definitely understandable what happened, but I'll be sticking around regardless. And in lighter news, I'm rather jealous of you getting to write for Kemo Coliseum. That's really awesome, I hope you have fun with that!
