Howdy Butt-Snappers! Hope the burgeoning year is treating y'all right. Spring is blooming, and so too are... naughty butts everywhere...?

This month is all X-Men themed. To say I'm excited about the recent release of X-Men '97 would be a bit of an understatement. I've been a huge fan of the original cartoon since I was a kid, and ditto for the comics. They were the gateway to a lot of other things in my life, so it felt only appropriate to dedicate March to our merry mutants!

Let's get right into it!

-Beast x Beast (x Beast) is a story featuring, you guessed it... Beast! In the Krakoan era, Beast has had a fan-divisive turn to outright villainy the last few years. In the most recent storyline of 2024's X-Factor, a new Beast clone has been born, one with no memories of the last thirty or so years of his publication history. A copy from a more innocent, bygone era. What happens when he goes after his evil self to bring him to justice?

Well, spankings happen, duh.

Beast might just be my favorite comic character of all time, so it was a lot of fun to tackle multiple versions of him and how they interact!

-Fang's Costume is another story set in the Krakoan era. Wolverine has long had a troubled history with his son, Daken. But on Krakoa, they can finally exist together without violence. Well, not as much violence, anyway.

As of Marauders (2022), Daken has taken on a new codename: Fang, gifted to him by the Shi'ar Empire. But Wolverine has a history with the Imperial Guardsman Fang... and with the costume Daken now wears.

-Once a year for longer than either of them can remember, Sabretooth has hunted Wolverine down on his birthday and tried to kill him. But in the aftermath of Avengers ASSemble, it seems Sabretooth is after something different this year. Something more... traditional.

-Magneto Spanks the X-Men! is exactly what it says on the tin. Another fic set in the aftermath of Avengers ASSemble, this time the villain Magneto is going on a spanking spree against his old enemies. Seems like there's a lot of that going around, eh? Will the X-Men emerge unscathed, or will they ultimately succumb to the Master of Magnetism?

-Bishop's Initiation brings us to the X-Men '97 fics. As the newest member of the team, Bishop isn't joining the X-Men without going through a little light-hearted hazing. But do they really have to smack so hard? A kinda-not-really sequel to a previous story of mine: Bishop's Bad Bet.

-In the X-Men cartoon Wolverine is, if anything, even brattier than his comic counterpart. In Asking For It, he does just that, literally daring Cyclops to spank him. But when Cyclops shows up at his door later that night, he's more surprised than anybody when the X-Men's leader actually goes through with it.

-And lastly, our latest chapter of the Multiversal Tournament. Proceeding onward from defeating Kratos, Iron Bull meets his next contender: the Warchief of the Horde, Garrosh Hellscream. Clearly, the only way for these two to settle their differences is with a nude wrestling match.
