May 2024 Reward

Greetings, butt-snappers! This month's update is a doozy. I may not be giving you a complete novella like last month, but it's still PRETTY DARN BIG. As you may recall, the theme for this month is JRPGs. Let's get into it!

-Antagonists for much of the early game of Breath of Fire III were Balio and Sunder, a pair of, er, majestic...? No, okay, beautiful... Alright fine, JERK unicorn brothers. They get involved in such fun crimes as blackmail, human trafficking, and assaulting our party multiple times. More importantly, they're big bullies. They even threaten to give the main characters a spanking in their first appearance! Clearly I couldn't resist writing such a pair, although they may not be the ones doing the spanking in this fic...

Garr, Champion of Champions, catches them in the act and gives them what they deserve in Bustin' Broncos.

-Over in Final Fantasy X, Wakka is feeling guilty. He's spent the majority of his game playing the party's token religious fundamentalist but has just found out, as so many JRPG characters do, that actually Religion Is Bad. How does he deal with the guilt? Well obviously he asks the party's resident spanker to deal with him.

Auron takes Wakka in hand in Discipline Requested, Discipline Received.

-The Multiversal Tournament continues in Part 5. Kilowog and Goliath run into their next pair of challengers and find it to be the rather odd couple of Marvel's Luke Cage (suggested by Sconex) and Fire Emblem's Tibarn (suggested by 恶少狼). It's muscle vs muscle, wings vs wings in this high-stakes match! Who will triumph and whose butt will be blistered before the roaring crowds?

As always, I'll have a separate post in a few days for you to suggest new characters for the next chapter!

-We return to territory both old and new in the next entry, set in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Barret is convinced he can win the next Queen's Blood match if he can just draw a decent hand. But what can he bet once Red XIII wins all his clothes off him? His... butt?

If so, his male party members all seem oddly eager to take him up on that (and don't lie, so would you) in Queen's Blood Gambit.

-Meanwhile in Breath of Fire II, certain party members are getting annoyed they never get picked to accompany the hero. In particular, the highlander Sten is getting more and more bored. And when monkeys get bored, they pull pranks.

Will Bow and Rand escape Sten's rampage with their dignities intact? Forecast says 'doubtful', but find out for yourself in Shots Fired.

-While in Suikoden, Viktor is living his life to the fullest as always. Unfortunately for him, he's the current bearer of the Star Dragon Sword, a talking blade with a serious attitude problem. Neither is particularly happy about the arrangement. Find out how ol' SDS brings his irresponsible bearer in line in Sword Dance.

-In Final Fantasy VI, we get another quick story of Ultros tentacle-spanking some male party members. What can I say? I like the theme. This time Cyan and Sabin get it in Tentacle Lashings. This one also has artwork accompanying it, drawn by Rickpenman (https://x.com/RickPenman) and background added by myself!

-And in our eighth and final story, we check back in on a different corner of Spira, this time to Mt Gagazet. Set between Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2, a tournament is held to select the next Ronso elder and it looks like Kimahri is a shoe-in to win... unless his old bullies Biran and Yenke double-team him.

Whew! Just writing all the descriptions took a while this time, LOL. In addition to that we have the usual ref folders of all the characters, and in some cases even screenshots of relevant scenes from the games. There's also two other pieces of artwork attached by artists liuoie2 and Hasarath respectively. Yes, I'm aware all three 'special' arts feature Sabin Figaro getting spanked in some way this month. No, I DON'T have a problem!! I'm very normal about Sabin.

Thanks so much for helping support my monthly hyper-fixations. I'm thinking next month's theme might be spankable fighting game characters. What do you all think?
