I kept thinking that this goddess reminds me of Hariti. I finally searched it up and Kishimojin is just her japanese name. This means that the gods are at the very least based off of actual mythological deities. I'm guessing the god they have to fight probably has a weakness related to his myth as well, but unfortunately he doesn't remind me of any deity that I have read about.
