The reason why the Manga got discontinued is because the author passed away. He became sick in 2008 and died in 2017. The Artist for HotS worked also on Triage X, which also has a Anime. And I think, the Manga is less ecchi and not as crazy, but that's because the producer "Araki, Tetsurou" went all out. I guess you can tell, he also worked on AoT, Spy x Family, Guilty Crown, Black Lagoon and more. And that scene with the Bullet is pretty iconic, for obvious reasons xD I personally think the action sequences are pretty dope in HotD, because of how dynamic they are
