This right here is the actual answer to what he said last episode. He called out folks for "thinking its the dad" when he pointed out "where does this show even go then if the main plot is 'over'?" Answer: You move that same plot to the other main character, obviously. Time for Ruby to be the dark star - and hopefully we can get a light star out of Aqua.
