A merry status update

'Tis I, Gary, your festive shawty, The rut I spoke of in my prior post, Now cleared, scenes aglow with yuletide cheer. Two more chapters await, like presents under the tree.

Before these chapters, like unwrapped gifts, It's hard to guess their size or shape, But your Christmas elf estimates three hundred more renders, A merry challenge, a holiday task to embrace.

With a twinkle in my eye, I'll crunch numbers, A daily goal set, like counting down to Christmas morning, Forty planned renders as I jingle my way through writing, And forty more while the festive scenes dance in rendering.

This sets a festive rhythm, a minimum of fifteen days, Yet I confess, as I add animations, The days may stretch, like tinsel on a cozy fireplace. But fear not, my festive friend, the finish line is in sight.

I almost guarantee, like the anticipation of Christmas Eve, That I won't hit the daily target every day, For in the spirit of the season, surprises may unfold, And animations may be added, like ornaments on a tree.

I still believe in the magic of this year's end, Finishing the renders before the clock strikes twelve, A Christmas wish, close to coming true. Here are the festive metrics, if you care:

The rut I alluded to in my previous post has been cleared, the animations completed, and the scenes fully rendered. That leaves me with two more chapters for this release. Before writing them, it's hard to gauge how long they will be. A rough estimate calculated by yours truly is three hundred more renders. I will crunch a little to achieve this by the end of the month. This means I will set a daily target of forty planned renders when writing, and forty renders while rendering. This sets a lower bound of fifteen days. I can almost guarantee that I will not hit this target every day, and as I'm sure to add some animations, it'll take even longer. I still think finishing the renders this year is possible, but it'll be close.
