From Taylor to Tay-Tay, Chapter Twelve

The second Sarah turned the corner, Taylor darted to the door and closed it behind her. He did so gently, as he didn’t want her calling him out for being rude or anything like that. Even with the separation between himself and the hallway, he could hear Sarah stopping by what was supposed to be his room for a minute to say goodbye to Anna and the others.

It still hadn’t fully hit him that the bedroom he was standing in was actually his, despite how all of his possessions were scattered throughout the girly space. The walls felt a lot more pink than when he glimpsed them whenever he was passing by and Anna had the door open. How was this fair?! His sister basically just got an upgrade for now reason, both in terms of room size and a preferable style, at Taylor’s expense.

Taylor had only agreed to a second day of daycare, and Sarah had managed to spin that out into a full week while also screwing with him both at school and at home. Even after making it through his last day dressing like a little girl on Friday, it was going to take a lot of work to get things back to the status quo.

For a few long minutes, he just sat on the edge of his bed, trying to figure out what to do. Unpacking everything felt like accepting that this was a done deal. Which it was. Storming down the hall and demanding that they switch back would likely result in Anna laughing in his face, not to mention how Sarah could react in any number of ways when she heard about it next time the two girls were together. The whole point of playing Sarah’s games with nearly no resistance was that he was waiting out the clock. That, and he was worried about her ever growing collection of pictures.

Eventually, he decided to get to work. Mostly because it was better than watching My Little Pony or doing more homework that was a total waste of time when his real assignments were back in his locker. After double checking that the door was locked, he started with his clothes. The sooner all of Anna’s old things were thoroughly hidden, the better. If she saw any of that, he was dead. She had already taken advantage of his need for a ride two days in a row, and was currently power tripping thanks to how Sarah had set up that whole ‘the more mature sibling is in charge’ nonsense. Taylor was already under Sarah’s thumb; he really didn’t need Anna to have actual leverage on him on top of everything else.

His furniture was all the same, so it was simple enough to get his drawers back to how they were before. Of course, he normally had darker t-shirts, most of which displayed edgy artwork of his favorite bands. Now he mostly had brighter, more feminine tees that Anna used to wear. And then there was his underwear drawer, which he could only fill with panties thanks to how Sarah had taken every last pair of his boxers. As he pulled the girly clothes out of where he had hidden them for the move, he made sure to block the dresser with his body, just in case. Even with the door locked and the precautions he was taking, he still jumped slightly at every sound he heard.

Just when he was getting ready to start on the closet, which was smaller than his and would make hiding Anna’s old dresses more difficult than the double protection he had given himself before of keeping the closet doors closed while also keeping them hung out of sight all the way in the back corner, he heard a sound that was actually worth a nervous reaction.

Anna had tried to just let herself in without knocking, only to be rejected by how Taylor had locked her and anyone else out. The doorknob still jiggled slightly, alerting him to her presence. Not that she was trying to be subtle. As soon as she realized the door was locked, she called through the door. “Tay-Tay! Why is your door locked? Please tell me you’re not jacking off in there.”

Taylor winced at the crass accusation. It was bad enough when Sarah teased him about wearing his sister’s panties; she had gone so far as to call him a freak, which pretty heavily implied that he liked it. In reality, it was the total opposite. He hadn’t been aroused in the slightest over the last couple days, since he was constantly distracted by everything Sarah had been putting him through; that, and he had been given more and more immature assignments to deal with in her absence.

He was about to snap at her to go away, until he considered how saying something like that would kind of imply that she was right. Sighing to himself, he crossed the room and opened the door. Not just to prove that he wasn’t that comfortable in his new room after less than thirty minutes, but also because he was guessing that Anna wasn’t going to give up until he let her in. “What do you want?” he flatly asked.

Anna smirked down at him, not intimidated in the slightest thanks to her height advantage as well as how everything had played out with the bedroom switch over the last hour or so. “One, no more locking your door. That’s a safety hazard, Tay-Tay. In fact, I think you should leave it open from now on. So I know you’re not doing anything inappropriate.”

“Umm, no,” he replied. For starters, he had always been a bit of a cliché teenager with his wannabe rockstar image and pretty much always hanging out in his bedroom when he was home. And then there was everything with him being a ‘little girl.’ Privacy was ideal when he had to pack up so many embarrassing things for school.

“Umm, yes,” Anna rolled her eyes, “I’m in charge, remember? And Sarah told me that you could use some supervision whenever she’s not around. She also told me you could use an earlier bedtime. How about lights out at 10 PM?”

Except Anna wasn’t actually in charge. She wasn’t supposed to keep that dynamic up when Sarah wasn’t around. Also, did her friends leave? There was a distinct lack of giggling down the hall, plus Anna probably would have brought them for back-up and/or as an audience to this latest round of messing with her brother.

“Anna-” he hesitated. Though Sarah was no longer there, Taylor belatedly processed that this wasn’t Anna just being a bitch. He thought back to how his ‘girlfriend’ had stopped by Anna’s room, and how they could have talked about any number of things in terms of how his evening was supposed to go.

“Tay-Tay,” Anna mimicked his awkward tone, before going on, “Sarah really has you by the balls, doesn’t she? I guess it makes sense. You’ve always been all bark and no bite. Your girlfriend says she can spot a subby boy from a mile away.”

He flushed, entirely unsure how to respond to that. For a second, it sounded like Anna knew that Sarah had something on him. Instead, she had been told a different story about why their ‘relationship’ was the way it was. “I’m not-” he cut himself off, as he really didn’t want to say the word ‘subby’ out loud. He settled for a vague, “It’s not like that.”

“Uh huh,” she said, “Well, Sarah says you’re going to bed early tonight. And since you’re whining about it, let’s make it 9:30. How does that sound?”

“What? No!” he protested. Taylor hadn’t gone to bed that early since middle school. As a senior, and a popular one at that, he was used to partying well past midnight on the weekends and generally staying up until at least 11 PM during the week.

Anna just smiled. “Looks like you just lost another thirty minutes. Do we need to call your girlfriend, Tay-Tay? She gave me her number, by the way. Your choice. Be a good little boy, and go to bed at 9? Or should I tattle on you and ask her if we can make it even earlier?”

He couldn’t believe Anna was being this brazen, not to mention patronizing. Although now he knew why. Maybe Taylor could stand up to his sister despite how he had been thoroughly embarrassed in front of her over the last few hours, but they both knew that Sarah would be able to lay down the law from afar. It was super frustrating that Anna’s threat worked when she didn’t actually know the truth; she just thought he and Sarah had some weird power-play dynamic and was leaping at the chance to participate in her own way.

When Taylor failed to find his voice in response to her demeaning threat, Anna chuckled and said, “That’s what I thought. 9 PM, then?”

“Fine,” he muttered.

“Rude,” Anna said, “How about, ‘Yes, sister dearest. You’re in charge, and I’ll do anything you say.’ Didn’t Sarah say something about attitude adjustment?”

Doing the opposite of adjusting his attitude, Taylor scowled and said, “Go away. I have stuff to do.”

“Mm hmm. Important big boy stuff.” Anna stepped back, not wanting to push things too far for the time being. Once she had a better sense of what she could and couldn’t get away with now that she and Sarah had somewhat established the thing about her being in charge, she’d start testing the waters with other ideas that were already bouncing around in her head. Maybe she’d text Sarah anyway and further befriend little Tay-Tay’s girlfriend, or just wait until she came over to have some more fun. Either way, this was all so much better than the basic verbal jabs she was used to making. “Real cute room, by the way. Now, remind me when your bedtime is?”

He was so tempted to slam the door in her face. Instead, he flushed slightly and reluctantly said, “9 o’clock.”

“That’s right,” Anna said. She couldn’t help but grin, not bothering to pretend like she was being strict for his own good or anything like that, “And that doesn’t mean getting ready for bed then. Your teeth should be brushed, you should be in your pajamas, and the lights should be out at nine. Got it?”

God, that was so fucking early. While he was a little tired from tossing and turning for the last couple nights, as well as the constant humiliation taking its toll during the day, he wasn’t that tired. And yet, all he could do was begrudgingly affirm the specifics of what his sister was pushing on him.

“Good boy,” Anna giggled, “I’m curious. Is Sarah your Mistress, or your Mommy?” Maybe they hadn’t established something that kinky, though it certainly felt like the latter. Either way, she was mostly trying to make him feel awkward.

“It’s not like that!” he retorted, blushing more deeply.

“Sure, it’s not,” she shrugged, “Anyway, I have stuff to do. Remember, this door stays all the way open. If you have a problem with that, go cry to Mommy.” With one more smug look, she walked away, back to her new bedroom.

Again, all Taylor wanted to do was slam the door. Even if he hadn’t given Anna his room, the idea of not having any peace or privacy was absurd. Also, he was only halfway through stashing away his sister’s old clothes. There was no way in hell he’d keep working on that when there was a chance he wouldn’t hear her padding down the hall to check on him. The problem was, he fully believed her. Putting aside the awkward ‘Mommy’ thing, when pretending to be dating a nerdy girl was already overwhelming, Sarah would almost certainly back Anna up about whatever rules she decided to put in place. And he really didn’t want to give Sarah any openings, when surviving the week was still his priority.

Taylor resigned himself to getting some of his personal stuff organized the way it was before, to at least get the pink room to a state where he could walk around without tripping over all his possessions that had been haphazardly left in the middle of the room after the furniture was done. He’d have to stash the dresses away the next time Anna wasn’t home. The real challenge was going to be figuring out everything for school the following day. That, and he had his childish ‘assignments’ that he was going to do before 9 PM and while making sure Anna wasn’t able to walk in and see what he was working on.

He started with My Little Pony, which could be accomplished by using headphones and turning his laptop screen away from the door. That’s basically what he did the previous evening anyway, since he had been just as nervous about Anna catching him. It didn’t matter that they normally kept their distance from each other; logic didn’t apply very strongly when he was constantly worried about Anna and the guys at school glimpsing the waistband of his panties, whatever immature task Sarah had given him, etc.

Three episodes later, he made himself a quick dinner before returning to his room to work on homework. Since he wasn’t actually in fifth grade, and didn’t have the textbooks the girls in daycare would bring home with them, he ended up needing to look up the answers for subjects like History and Science. He wasn’t exactly a model student in his own classes, and it had been forever since he had done some of this stuff.

That was the part of the night that made him more nervous, since he didn’t have his real assignments to hide the immature ones underneath. Thankfully, Anna hadn’t bothered him since earlier, save the occasional quiet laugh Taylor heard as she walked by and saw him sitting in the girly bedroom. Sarah did bother him, however. Around 8 PM, she sent him a text instructing him to wear pink panties tomorrow. According to her, the white pair was boring. She also said that as his ‘amazing girlfriend,’ she’d pick him up on the way to school.

He actually didn’t hate the part about getting a ride from her. That was preferable to another drive with Anna and her friends, which had been embarrassing enough before today. Between the teasing he would surely endure when stuck in a car with all of them, as well as even more money he’d owe his sister, it would be better to deal with Sarah.

Thirty minutes later, and it was time to start getting ready for bed. He didn’t need the full half hour, but he also didn’t want to be scrambling at the last minute. The water was running, which seemed to be more consistent as the renovations seemed to be wrapping up. The sooner he could regularly shower at home again, the better.

While Taylor had to keep his bedroom door open, he at least had the privacy of the bathroom to change into his usual comfortable shorts/tee combo. Hopefully Anna wouldn’t notice that the black t-shirt he was wearing was actually hers. It wasn’t that different from a distance, though he could definitely feel how the fit was slightly off from what he was used to.

Settling into bed ten minutes before 9 PM, he started scrolling on his phone for the first time all afternoon. There was just no time for what he’d normally spend the evening doing. Between Sarah’s assignments and Anna pushing a childish bedtime on him, his night was already over. Naturally, his teammates were giving him shit for missing another practice, along with (somewhat accurate) accusations that he had decided to hang out with his girlfriend instead. One or two of the guys joked about how a study session was more important than baseball, while most of the others were more crass about their suspicions about what ‘Tay-Tay’ was up to.

Right on time, Anna stopped by to make sure Taylor was going to bed nice and early like she had told him to. “Lights out, Tay-Tay!” she announced, as if he didn’t already know. That was all the warning she gave before flicking the switch and plunging the room into darkness beyond his phone light that was still on. “You don’t need me to tuck you in, do you?”

“I’m good,” Taylor muttered. He set his phone down on the dresser that wasn’t quite where he was used to it, since he was assuming that going to bed meant actually going to bed and not lying there for another hour or two with the device.

“Then do it yourself,” Anna countered. The hallway light was enough for her to see how he was still sitting up, which also didn’t count.

Too tired to argue at this point, when his sister would probably end up getting her way no matter what, Taylor huffed out a sigh and shifted down until he was fully horizontal and able to pull the covers over most of his upper body. “Happy?” he asked, doing what he could to minimize the satisfaction she was taking out of this.

“What do you think, Tay-Tay?” Anna smiled, “Your door stays open all night, got it? I’ll hit the hallway light so it doesn’t bother you. Nighty night!”

Like before, she waltzed away without waiting for a response. True to her word, the light outside was out within a few seconds. It was easily dark enough to sleep, but still weird to do so with the door wide open.

He closed his eyes, knowing it would take a while, all while wondering how he was going to get through another full day of being Sarah’s boyfriend, a little girl at daycare, and now stuck letting his younger sister walk all over him.
