Added 2018-02-07 13:21:00 +0000 UTCYeaterday I came how to find my 12 year old bearded dragon had passed away. He was my first pet, that is, the one I had the sole responsibility of taking after. I feel a lot like I failed him, to be honest. I did a lot of things wrong since he was my first bearded dragon and responsibility.
But Aviry was an amazing animal and companion to me all through my young life. I took him pretty much everywhere I was aloud to on warm days. He loved eating apples and zucchini, or running around on hot summer days in the grass. Aviry tolerated dogs, children, other bearded dragons frankly, just an amazing animal and I didnt deserve him.
I buried him under our mountain ash tree where flowers pop up every spring. Id like to get a memorial rock for him, just as a spot to remember how good he was.
