Die lit is easier on the ear and probably has more ‘listenable’ songs but if u think about the state of the new age of hip hop, it’s clear to see how influential an album like wlr really is. Not to sound too crazy but if u think about why so many people love Yeezus there are similarities about how people feel with wlr.

2022-03-18 03:16:14 +0000 UTCalso it’s insane to see how quickly y’all caught up on his discography. i thought the album was good and progressive but some of the ideas kinda fell flat more than others. the last song being more serious threw me for a loop. i think he could do serious songs but the ideas really need to be more consistent and flushed out if you get what i’m saying.
