I promise you, it won't be for a drama. The superbowl is a spectacle first & foremost. Energy, and the grandiose was lacking on stage like that due to the set list mainly imo. Man in the garden and peekaboo should've never been picked imo. It's very possible to admire and acknowledge the art he put on display while also critiquing he came up shorter than I would've liked for the task at hand. But if the task was just to humiliate drake I also think he came up shorter than I would've thought too, bc outside of the last 3 minutes. The rest of the performance was just aight

It was creative, as we knew it would be for Kendrick. If you are a casual rap fan, this performance probably didn't do it for you because it didn't have the glitz and glam we're used to seeing with SB shows.

I thought K Dot was phenomenal tho. The messaging carried the performance too in my opinion, he didn't need a lot of external lights, and explosions and flips. to his point it woulda distracted people too much from what he had to say. Either way I thought he did GREAT.
