Good Morning
Added 2023-08-15 18:09:19 +0000 UTCThis is the clean contour for a long scene inspired by 'Good Morning!' the first color film by Yasujiro Ozu. Specifically, by how they would film actors speaking into the camera while actors had to image an eye-line with their acting partner. I thought it had a hypnotic kinda effect and I wanted to try and replicate it in the animation. Which of course meant more traditional face animations.
If all goes well, I will put up a typical allinall teaser a week before the end of August and subsequently the complete Lost Children 2 animation. I feel optimistic right now. For example yesterday I colored 3 short scenes in a row. The new tier portraits will be in the credits of this one.

I really enjoy the traditional animation aspect of these previews you’re giving us. I think I said previously the colors and flash of anime and the fluidity and detail of traditional goes very well together in my opinion. Also woohoo! LC2 near my birthday, am interested to see your interpretation of Yuki for the end credits too. Keep moving forward ~ 🦋
