Jörmungandr is the World Serpent (or Midgard Serpent) of Norse mythology, the son of Loki and the giantess Angrboða. The wolf Fenrir would be his brother, and the goddess Hel would be his sister. Jörmungandr would encircle the earth while biting its own tail, "symbolizing the world's circle of life" according to Wikipedia.

If you could not tell by now, Fenrir is my favorite boi. He will probably appear a couple more times.

I also thought of something. I had this idea as a kid to make characters based on the Chinese zodiac animals: dragon, dog, snake, etc. Never got to do it then. Why not take these characters from other mythologies to be the animals? Like Anubis for the dog, Jörmungandr for the snake, and they would be the 12 chosen zodiac council or something lol. Their rivals could be another 12 from the western zodiac (Capricorn, Aries, Virgo, etc. but that one might be a little weird). Could make character sheets on them and/or an entire comic series on them. Any thoughts?
