One more thing...I had a late comment on the YouTube posting of this before it was taken down that I want to re-share: What Nick heard as a Blues Traveler-style harmonica on "Halo" was none other than Adrian Belew on guitar! He guested on this and the Deadwing title track...

2024-08-05 16:28:29 +0000 UTCNick, I'm guessing the autocorrect turned "Procol' into 'Protocol"...with the undeserved accusation you got about pronouncing it that way I know it wouldn't have been an error you'd make 😁 and with this reposting marathon of your own it slipped past...Thanks again for giving these banished marathons a home!

2024-08-04 10:55:28 +0000 UTCThanks, Debbie! I was actually wondering if you'd performed Fauré's Requiem as I recalled your choral background...I sang it nearly 50 years ago as a tenor with the Colgate University Chorus and Orchestra, and when the sopranos come in angelically alone with "Lux aeterna" and then the other parts and instruments join it gets me every time!

2024-08-04 10:46:58 +0000 UTCLove the Joni- this was the first album of hers I ever bought! The Fauré is another huge favorite- I've performed it many times with different choirs, and just last month sang it at one of our informal Summer Sings. "A Salty Dog" was one of the most atmospheric songs I'd ever heard when it came out. Stunning! Great picks, Gary! 🎵❤️🎵 Debbie
