I loved getting to see a bit more of their relationship and how much Colin means to Isaac. I was nervous at first, but once again, this show showed me that I had no reason to be and I loved ted's speech and the talk between Isaac and Colin at the end there! I also really enjoyed getting to see a bit more of roy from a different place than we usually see him. he felt more vulnerable this episode when listening to Rebecca and then talking to Isaac and answering questions for the press! overall, a great episode! 🩶

yes! the acting on everyone in the cast is incredible and I would've loved to deep dive into them all too! Colin and Isaac really do so much with their facial expressions and body to make you feel exactly what they are feeling and it's brilliant! 🩶

2024-09-08 23:47:25 +0000 UTCSAME! I was so worried bc he has this large need to be liked but I was thrilled when he was like nope, going to be with my girlfriend! I will say, he never struck me as the type to cheat and what not, so I'm happy I was right on that! I totally agree! like you can not want to speak to him at the moment but there were little things that I felt were a bit unacceptable, like him moving his hand angered me a bit and him screaming at Colin but I'm thrilled they worked it out! 🩶

I feel like no one really tells him the hard things because he comes off very stern and stubborn but I loved that scene! and loved the Isaac and Colin bits this episode! 🩶

2024-09-04 15:15:33 +0000 UTCExactly, Colin sitting alone on one end of the couch, as Isaac walks away. Contrast that with how this episode ended, Colin sitting in the same spot of a couch, but this time, Isaac is sitting next to him.

Like you only notice these things in rewatches, and there are so many small little details in scenes like that locker room scene that make them amazing, like the camera slowly but surely zooming in on Colin. And I could speak for hours about the Colin and Isaac scene in 3x08 where Isaac grabs Colin’s phone - barely any words were said in that scene but the acting said so much - the loneliness Colin feels afterwards when he’s sitting alone on the couch when a bunch of people just walk past without noticing anything it drives me CRAZY

2024-09-04 05:05:16 +0000 UTCThe show also does things visually that you may not even notice but it makes an impact on the story they're telling. For instance, they made Colin look more meek, smaller, more vulnerable by having Jan (the tallest) stand next to him the entire scene.

And as someone who follows the prem, this storyline is soooo important to have, and it’ll always be dear to me (though I wish it’d gotten more screentime and development but alas), but the actors did an amazing job!!! And the fact that I can’t picture any other actor in any of the roles just proves how talented they all are and how much work they put into their roles!!!

2024-09-03 17:25:19 +0000 UTCAgree about the acting. Kola (as Isaac) being so angry and hurt and emotional that he's crying, its phenomenal. And Billy (as Colin), you can feel how scared and anxious he is by just the look on his face. Also, the hopeful/nervous look when the truth finally comes out.

2024-09-03 15:57:13 +0000 UTCWhat I probably love most about this episode is how Kola and Billy’s acting (especially their microexpressions in the more stressful scenes) both tell you so much about how deep their friendship goes, even though we previously have only seen glimpses of it. God this entire cast drives me INSANE and make me wish every single character got their own time to shine

2024-09-03 15:34:31 +0000 UTCI have lots to say about this episode. First the easiest, was so glad that Nate left the bar and didn't fall for Rupert's manipulation. Then I loved Rebecca calling Roy out. The fun press meeting about the drummers with Beard. Roy's press meeting was so good and sad. Jamie and Sam are so adorable together. Okay, now for the big part of the show. I loved it except Isaac making Colin feel like dirt while he worked through his feelings. Colin says he didn't last a month after Isaac found out. That meant for at least a few weeks Isaac had blanked Colin. I feel that was a cruel thing to do. Isaac is his best friend so Isaac should know what that would do to Colin. That being said, I did love the Isaac coming over and making things right with Colin. Also, I love Colin's house, so pretty. With all the glass I hope it's out in the middle of no where though.

2024-09-03 03:19:41 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite episodes for so many reasons. Roy is great talking to the press at the end, he even has a Ted-like story to tell the reporters. Also calling the new Independent journalist "new Trent" is hilarious. Will always being in the boot room and hearing all the tea is such a funny running gag. Rebecca telling Roy what he needed to hear is amazing, go off queen! Lastly, Colin and Isaac got to shine in this episode. Turns out Isaac was just defending his best friend, he just has a hard time with emotions and didn't know how to handle it. Their conversation at the end is very sweet and honest and I'm so glad they are besties again.
