Really sorry for the long radio silence... I don't usually go this long without an update.
This month I was mostly busy finishing a couple of commissions that involved some new technical challenges, and that took me a while to get right.
Good thing is I took this time to clean up my setup in Houdini for making hairs (which was a big mess) and figured out a better way for simulating hair collisions. It will be used in future animations, at least for long hairs that would noticably clip through the environment.
So, no more commissions for me until the end of the year; my priority now is to finish the long overdue intro for The Park and finally move on to another animation.
And speaking off, for the next animation I will revive the snowy scenery of the cabin by the lake I worked on years ago. The making of the terrain was the main reason I shelved it at the time, so I got myself a license for Gaea 2.0 to make the process a whole lot easier.
