First animation! / My future with animation

Alright here it is... my first animation!
Or should I say... awful attemption ;D

Video files are in attachments.

My future with animation:

This Animation was made enirely in DAZ which got me really frustated over time as there are so many restrictions and bugs.

For example the ik chains don't work as expected, which makes it really hard to fix specific body parts at certain positions (as you might see).

This makes it simply impossible to create realistic looking animations.

On top of that alot of animated morphs can't even be saved, so after reopening a saved project, everything is lost!

However I don't want to give up animations at all because I really like the aspect of bringing my characters to life ;)

And here comes the big deal... at least for me!

With blender 2.9 there are extremely important new features:

1. NVLink support for CUDA and OptiX... As a dual rtx gpu user this will give me the opportunity to render much bigger scenes!

2. Multiresolution modifier can rebuild subdivisions now... This will give me the ability do display unlimited details on my models, without losing performance!
(The performance in prior versions was a real deal breaker for me)

I think I will stay with Daz for STILL images for now but for animations, blender will be my program ;)

I hope you guys will enjoy my upcoming animation works.

May take some time though as I need to learn how to properly animate in blender.

Thank you for the recommendation :) It looks good and I really want to see people do some really good animations with it but it's not good enough for me as I want to achieve really realistic/phenomenal looking results. I think the "4K Bread" looks more like a mesh with a 1K texture without having additinal maps like bump or displacement :( And the lighting looks very bad for my taste too. (I mean it's realtime so that was expectable) But anyway, thanks for the tip :)

i am not sure its relevant but i recently watch movies made with Source 2 and they look amazing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8ErKnbmLyU
