I'm here with an update on what's been happening behind the scenes of Cross Realm. Here's what I've been up to lately:
Current Progress:
With the current script of Chapter II, my estimation is that version 0.2 will have a little over 3000 images. Based on that estimation, I can calculate the percentage of work done:
Render: 1541/3000+ images
Code: About 30%
Asset: 40%. These are the 3D models in the game. Usually, I sketch these out first, then when the rendering process is catching up, I will model or find assets that fit the original sketch.

What Should You Expect from the New Version:
Better quality render, animation... Because I have improved a bit with the experience I gained from making Chap I.
Overhaul the UI: I am not satisfied with the 0.1.1 version UI. Originally in 0.1.0, the game was made in UE4 which has a much more refined UI, so my goal for this version is to at least recreate the UI from that version.
New game mechanics: mini-games, inventory system,...
This Chapter will focus more on the story so the NSFW scenes will be less.
What's Next:
Currently, due to my daytime job, I have to work overtime some nights. These next few weeks, the progress will be slowed down a bit. But I'm still trying to keep this project going at a steady speed (5-6%/week). I know it will take a while, but I hope everyone can hang on till then.
Here's my timeline estimation:
Chapter II completion: July - August.
Public release: 15-20 days after completion. This is because I need time to proofread, port to other platforms. After that, it will be released to the Qi Mastery Tier, then Qi Harmony Tier.
