October was not what I expected.
I got writer's block for a couple of weeks. Knowing that I've got to keep being creative some way or other, I decided to go back and edit book 1 of Pathbreakers. With the eventual goal of releasing it in paperback format. It's mostly just reorganizing the old, tiny chapters into newer, longer chapters. Plus minor edits here and there. Nothing major, but work all the same.
Don't worry though, I did get the November chapters for y'all finished, and they're uploaded and primed for their MWF release days. No interruptions, no delays. Yay!
And what happens in those chapters? Big stuff. Book 2, part 1 ends, and boy does it end BIG. Yeah, that whole DC dungeon was just a prelude and exercise in leveling up our heroes in preparation for that big RAID BOSS battle you've been hearing about. And boy, is that a thing. You'll probably want to look up a “Pacific Rim” soundtrack Playlist for two chapters in particular.
As a side note, my chapter releases on Royal Road are switching to every three days instead of MWF. I'm mostly doing this to test the best days to release, but also that means the Patreon will pull further ahead of the Royal Road releases. No change for y'all, but you can feel slightly more smug about reading further ahead than the normies. Is anyone reading Pathbreakers a normie? Probably not.
Anyways, again, thanks so much for your support. It really does mean a lot to me. Each of you guys are going above and beyond to support my writing. Really, thanks.
