I would tell you that Instagram pushes forward posts that are videos and carousels, but if you have shadow ban for some reason, your reach is very limited. So the things that you upload better be good and entertaining so you get at least some organic impressions.

Pro Tip: A lot of nude photographers moved to Twitter which has less strict policy if it comes to uploading pictures. You can also upload them in 4k.
