Angela Halee - Part II

Another part from the photoshoot with Angela. I hope you'll like it.

If I could tell the difference between my old photo shoots, and now - the main difference is the quantity of photographs that are good enough for editing. I mean there are even these that require minimum retouch and editing.

If it comes to picking the right one for editing there are always few ingredients that make good photo for me.

The pose itself - is it elegant, funny, mysterious, is it interesting in a good way? All in all, does that pose fit in here? Is the crop ok?

Face expression - is it natural? I see too often face expressions that are waaaaay over exaggerated. Some photographers (and models) publish photos where models have that terrified look on their face, while wearing sexy lingerie. That always makes you question whether that photo shoot was safe or is the girl ok.

Surroundings - how the place looks, and how model looks in front of it (or in between). Look for the leading lines and get rid of unwanted things that either cluster the space or ruin the vibe. (for example: you're trying to build an elegant and soft looking vibe, but somehow there's a chainsaw on the wall - it never happened to me, but I'm old and I've seen and heard enough weird shit)

Colors - Every color has their own meaning and value and temperature so it could either add to your photo or take something from it. There's a whole great topic about color grading and color harmony. Google it.

There are few more factors which I will write about maybe some other time, but the key is to remember that the more matching factors that photo has, the better the score of it will be. I hope it makes sense.
