2025-08-07 03:57:41 +0000 UTCI'd add to the reasons behind Bobby's and other Martians' attitudes about Earth also stem from their (limited) information that Earth provides a living for all its citizens, even if they don't work. They call them "Takers, " and look down on them for that.

2025-07-17 16:57:31 +0000 UTC- No spoilers ahead - Earth spread out into the belt because it's full of super-valuable rare minerals and becasue that's what we do, always pushing it a bit further. At this point humanity is still confined to our Solar System lacking a sufficiently fast method of travel to venture out into interstellar space. The people on Mars are living under pressurized domes becasue the terraforming of the planet is not finished yet. Bobby ( Gunny ) at this point is extremely nationalist and a warrior. The people on Mars literally put the terraforming project before everything else and due to the Cold War between Earth and Mars they had to postpone that project to invest into their military. That made her generation very salty and resentful towards Earth. Her being a marine doesnt help the case, she wants to solve the problem the only way she knows. If you are a hammer, everything is a nail. In her eyes, Mars is perfect and the source of every problem is Earth. Things tend to be a lot more complex than that though... I like how Spartan just dont want to let go the "butcher" nickname for Fred Johnson. I always forget that hi was pinned with that nickname and every time he mentions it takes a moment for me to catch on lol Regarding Amos...it's not the same league, Miller wouldn't stand a chance. He was a badass cop becasue he knew how to play the game and he was ruthless if he had to be. Amos indeed has a backstory but that's just one of the reason why is he different. He was born on Earth, grew up in 1G and on top of that, he is built like a beast. In a later season there is a scene where you could se his thighs and they look like an oak log. The man is an absolute unit. He could fold Miller like a piece of paper and smoke him without really breaking a sweat. Miller is a belter, his muscles are weak, his bones are weak. It's just how it is. Really looking forward to the next few episodes guys, things are about to get wild.
