Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

Sinners [2025] Movie Uncut Reaction

Comments

Will there be an edited version of this awesome movie soon?

Kevin Keef

There is a ton of historical, racial context as the backdrop of this movie. Things like the Asian couple having 2 stores, Mary being white passing but wanting to be accepted and part of her black history, the sharecroppers v kkk in Mississippi in this time, it’s all significant, it all adds extra meat to the bones of this movie. Even the vampire, Remmick, being Irish and the historical colonization and diminishing of their culture by the British adds to the complexity of the story writing. If you’re interested in learning about it, there are tons of commentary videos done by black and Asian Americans out there on YouTube and TikTok.

awesome to hear! as our editors get comfortable with editing movies we will be able to do them more consistently

Glad movies are back!! Really hope you can squeak them into the rotation consistently.

Cody Sutton

I like how the vampires arent really evil, they really do want everyone to be part of their 'family' and see their ancestors.

I'm so happy to see that movies are back! I've actually opted out of renewing my Patreon subscription earlier this month as the current shows are not particularly appealing for me, but I'll probably renew my sub now that movies are back. I am hopeful that the wait in-between movies will not be too long. :)

Simon

Perfect timing! Was just about to watch this movie and now can watch it with you guys!

Btw there's a lot of amazing music out there today. I would say we live in the best era of music of all time just based on the enormous amount of music that's out there. You just need to be open to dive in because there's A LOT of music out there and you might like some and not like some but if you are open to listening to all and give each artist or genre their time to grow on you and get the vibe you'll unlock a lot of great music. And I think this movie plays with that theme that even new music has that spirit of all their ancestors within.

Pablo

Great film and what a nice surprise! I was considering canceling my sub since I'm not digging the current shows but having a movie even if it's once in a while does it for me. I'll stay :)

Pablo

What a film

Nathan Cutter

Both great movies.

Love the movie reaction hope the next movie is another Tarantino movie like kill Bill or pulp fiction

I literally had tears streaming down my face during that scene. The most amazing sequence of anything I've seen in a long time. I wish I had seen in theaters. Granted it's still playing here. S&P did OK with that scene. Others get genuinely moved like I was. Still others take the scene too literally and just sit there tensely waiting for something bad to happen, or worse, emotionally disconnected. Those are the worst reactors to this movie. The barn sequence is a vibrant celebration of music, heritage, and most of all, Blackness. I would go to the theater literally just for that scene.

I had a lot of fun rewatching this with you guys, such a wonderful film. I love how faithful this film is to the time period. Stack tells Sammie to not look at Mary at the train station because talking to a white woman could get you killed. Smoke is unable to roll his own cigarettes because of PTSD tremors he got from fighting in WW1. Smoke tells Sammie to go to Mound Bayou which was founded by former Black slaves. An Asian family is selling to black and white people seperately. Remmick was my fav character. I've been constantly listening to the Irish music he sings in this film. He definitely had some kind of hivemind control which is why he's able to know everything about the people he turned and was able to get them all singing and dancing to what he wanted.

The past-future music scene was awesome in theaters I got chills so quick! 🔥The whole movie's soundtrack is fantastic.

ngl remmick was aura farming lol 😂that is one cool vampire

It's heavily implied that Remmick the main vampire came from way in the past from Ireland before Christianity was introduced. Since he suffered from being stripped of his own culture and being forced to conform. His background makes him more interesting because I think he really does believe he’s helping people and because of his background he understands exactly how they feel. The flaw in his logic is that he’s forcing the vampirism on to them rather than letting them opt in if they want. Just like how he seems to resent how Christianity was forced on him by people who were convinced it was for the best. The way all the vampires acted showed that they were all deluded and did truly believe that killing their friends was the best way to gain freedom for each other, which is why Mary and Stack were both sad that Smoke killed Annie as she was now gone for good.

JMP

Interesting how you said it felt a bit like a Tarantino movie as it was heavily influenced by his film From Dusk Till Dawn.

JMP

I was just getting teased by a good friend last night that I hadn’t seen this yet. It’s meant to be, guess I know what I’m doing when I get home tonight.

Hefty517

Of course, you brought movies back, and of course, surprise!
