Full Length Reaction Guide

We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync.  Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen.  Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0.  Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:

We hope you enjoy the video!

What's that mean Daryl's him? Who's him..

PastaDon

"Why does he look a little like Daryl" 😆 Pudgey why you gotta do my guy like that, c'mon now! lol

PastaDon

dales actor ACTED HIS ASS OFF damn this had me crying XDDD

Crispin

daryls him people say shane would beat his ass till they find out who bro actually is XD

Djp

dale wanted to be written of the show

Djp

its not fair there saying its there child wanna no sum else thats not fair fucking someone's wife then expecting her to be yours once the husband comes back from the dead

Djp

Yeah agreed, give him some minimal comfort before checking out.

Paul

Dale didn't want to live in what the world had devolved into, and frankly... I'd be right there with him. Trying to fight against the dying of the light, to borrow a quote from Interstellar, who borrowed it from Dylan Thomas. To go out in such a brutal way, literally having his guts ripped out of him all because Carl was being a dumb kid (and to be fair, that'd be all of us, not really his fault). It sucks. Also, I do agree that while Lori has plenty of faults, she's at her best in the context of a wife to Rick. She truly tries to support him when he needs it. Got to give credit where it's due.

Paul

Only thing I wish they did was say to Dale that they hadn't killed the boy Randall. So that the knew that when he died.

Joshua Bonner

I love season 2 but for me season 3 is the best season. I can't wait for their reactions

AlrightThere

It did me too. That death is horrendous plus the voice of reason being taken. Hes a nice guy who wasn't meant for this new world :(

AlrightThere

RIP Dale the voice of reason. Extremely poetic that hes the one who gets killed in the end. In his speech he even said he won't live in a world that they want to live in. I feel like him at the end lifting his head towards the gun is him saying please friend just put me out of my misery. Extremely sad because he's right but in this world hes too level headed when it comes to pure survival. His point of view puts everyone at risk even if its down to chance. Its like a pacifist back in the day refusing to go to war because killing is wrong but that person gets punished and labelled a traitor. Its sad.

AlrightThere

Bit of behind the scenes for ya hope it doesn't spoil the magic, so Dale in the comics lasts a lot longer than this, however at this point in the show the executive producer frank darabont got sacked halfway through season 2 and replaced with Scott Gimple due to some pretty intense creative differences between Darabont and amc (even though he's still credited). The actor of Dale wasn't happy about it so decided to leave the show cos he was a close friend of Darabont. Made for a pretty shocking and memorable moment though.

Thank you guys for listening to some feedback about Shane. It's hard because Shane is a GREAT character at the end of the world, so the debate about whether he's a hero or villain is complicated. Dale hurled it as an insult and I don't think it's quite that - but Shane WAS built for the world the way it is here. He's a survivor, undeniably. And his decision making reflects that. I think what people are so uncomfortable with about him is how fast and easily he adapted to this world... to lose your humanity and moral compass so quickly IS alarming. What we can all agree with, however, and is a uniting point for the entire fandom: Daryl is the GOAT!!! Let's all stay in that happy intersection together :)

Amber

If we dont know whos child it is, it makes more sense for Rick and Lori to look after him/her. If we find out its shanes, it would be weird either way: 1. Shane takes 'custody' of the child, he and Lori take care behind Ricks back, kind of like a Stepdad vs Biological dad. 2. Rick and Lori look after Shanes child, and Shane cannot interfere and will live knowing its his.

Holy fuck. i have watched this show 4-5 times. and i knew exactly was is going to happen, but still the scene with dale hit me harder than expected. after his speech at the "council"... i cried my eyes out. With Dale goes the last kind soul of humanity it feels like.

Ma_Ne

That came out of nowhere Dale was one of my favourites :(

Fionn Hillman

I much prefer u guys glazing Daryl then Shane‼️

Shaniya

RIP Dale 💐

Gypsysoul.adventureawaits

Very excited for next episode

Christopher

I'm on vacation but I HAD to watch this. I really enjoy your discussion. I don't agree with a lot of what you say about Shane, but that doesn't matter. It's great to watch a show that brings out different conversations and perspective... I cannot wait for next episode. Ooof. Talk again on Sunday night lol

Oriana Lo Presti

No one ever watches Carl😂

Erin

Imagine if Lori was a better mother, lol. Like damn, lady. Can you watch your kid?

Duder03

haha thanks!

CpaSpartan Pudgey

No doubt. The way he bragged about killing the walker outside the barn he looks for their approval. He wouldn’t have turned down the peer pressure

ShanB

And there goes the last little bit off true humanity in the group 😭

Slow Shadow

Lol this episode shook me back in the day

Cole

Yes, this episode was shocking. Dale was our moral compass and it is interesting to think about how the group will continue without his constant pushing back.

Korivex

oh wow I didn't know any of that!

Nathan Jasper, the Artist Formerly Known as Primary

"Sorry brother"

Nathan Jasper, the Artist Formerly Known as Primary

RIP DALE. Peak TV writing

DRIP DROP

Honestly guys, really good reaction. Y’all took some of the criticism and looked at all sides and it really showed. Dale dying is definitely the first hard hitting death of the show and he was definitely one of my favourite characters bc he wasn’t afraid to tell anyone what he thought and also to me the way Daryl stepped up in this episode to take the burden off Rick by shooting Dale made him my second favourite character bc he knew how hard it was for Rick to do that and that’s what a great wingman does . I love Shane as a character but I noticed he didn’t step up , shows who’s really the better friend imo.

JonSnow21

Good reaction. Now we ALL waiting for next episode and the finale 💪🏽

Distrxct *

Yeah there's no way that kid didn't participate in that disgusting act.

Golladan

can't wait for the final epi's of S2!!

Rylee

I liked the progression we got with Carl. He wants to be cold like Shane and make the tough choices but Carl also couldn't even take out a walker who isn't a person anymore. Then putting on that tough act because he wants his dad and Shane to think he's man enough, only to realize in seeing death that he is in no way ready to carry these burdens. My stomach dropped as soon as Dale left the house because I knew what was coming. Some deaths will always hurt no matter how many times they're seen and Dale is one of them. Isn't it crazy next week is finale week? Season three coming soon!!

Nathan Jasper, the Artist Formerly Known as Primary

When Daryl stepped up for Rick at the end he cemented a profound bond and friendship between them Daryl is such a loyal guy!❤️

Shaniya

A little behind the scenes trivia having to do with Dale, but he wasn't supposed to die this early. The show was planning to move on from their showrunner who started the show and did seasons 1 and 2, and he was a real good friend with Dale's actor. Dale's actor told them that if the showrunner leaves, then he'd leave too. There was actually an almost decade long lawsuit that came out of that situation.

Shaniya

Spartan that green goes so well with your skin!

PokeTheBear

YEESSSSSSS CAN’T WAIT FOR ONE OF THE MOST GOATED SEASONS TO COME!!! CAN NOT WAIT FOR NEXT EPISODE! AND FINALEEE!! WOOOHOOOO!
