Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

I love the way the writers contrast him with Chrisjen, who is capable of becoming a better person by examining the consequences of her own actions, good and bad.

2025-09-01 17:37:01 +0000 UTCThe Secretary-General is ultimately responsible, but Errinwright made the decision to have the railguns warmed up before even presenting the plan. He knew the Secretary-General is a malleable tool, but underestimated the amount of convincing it would take for the Sec-Gen to risk millions of lives. So, the fact that the railguns had to be powered down the first time is really on Errinwright.

The railgun malfunctioned because he couldn't make a decision. If he just stayed firm on his first no with 82% not being good enough...this wouldn't have happened. Any kind of military operation, especially one with that much importance, has to be clear and intentional.

2025-09-01 02:28:39 +0000 UTCThis is one of my favorite episodes simply for the interactions between the Roci crew and Bobbie and Avasarala. I just love seeing all the storylines come together so beautifully! And all the best characters interacting! When I first watched this, I was hyped for Bobbie and Amos interacting and for Holden and Avasarala, but my favorite I think is the Amos and Avasarala one. I’m so glad yall recognized and remembered Souther! A lot of reactors forget about him or don’t recognize him. He is a good one. And Nguyen very much is a sneaky snake. It’s all ramping up now!! Can’t wait for the next ones!

I still don't know what he thought he would accomplish fighting Mars. Control, power, fame, riches...total rubbish. Earth controlling the protomolecule would not go well in Mao's, Nguyen's and Errinwright's hands. So glad Chrisjen knows the truth and has proof.

Can you imagine being responsible, directly, for that many souls severed from this mortal coil? Pure horror. Holden still wants to be a knight, but I think at this point he values and wants to protect his crew more than anything else, and orient towards a more grounded mission, like Naomi did back on Ganymede, saving those refugees. Now his focused mission is all on saving Prax's daughter.

2025-09-01 00:19:05 +0000 UTCI think this is non-spoilery to confirm, but yes the crew of the Arboghast are dead 😭 When the protomolecue disassembled their ship they were deep in Venus's atmosphere, briefly they would have had a bubble of earth air around them, but that would have dissipated fairly quickly exposing them to Venus atmosphere - 100c+ - High pressure - Sulfuric Acid moisture One would hope it was quick.
