The Walking Dead 2x10 Reaction

Comments

right, like, "ok, this is going a little too far." like they could not genuinely tell they were trying to kill each other, not just "hash it out"

Alan

But also because the group looks to Rick not Shane for help and guidance. Barring Andrea there isn't one member in the group who would vote Shane to lead them over Rick . Shane is a legend and always will be but at this point in the series he lost himself. Rick will risk himself for everyone in that group, Shane would only for Lori and Carl and that's only whilst he loves, or thinks he loves her. Rick has proven he will not abandon a group Shane would probably be built to thrive as an oppressor in this world but Rick definitely thrives as a leader Rick isn't perfect though whatsoever but he's right, taking a life should NEVER be that easy especially so soon

Eagle Myles

I always thought Shane was a badass and I did like him too when I first watched but not this much. Like, no he has no say in things when his say is forcing it on the group Rick often is asked what to do or looked upon to make decisions by the group and he takes that burden seriously. Shane lives on impulse and sure between the two of them you'd think he's far more built for this world than Rock BUT not to lead a group. Rick, as shown in this episode, is more intelligent than Shane (the blood trick) and it's been shown more times than this and also he will be willing to protect the group. Not just by killing someone easily but by going and rescuing people, unless it's Carl or Lori, Shane isn't doing that. Shane has made too many bad choices so far and let's say Rick hadn't come back, it's easy to say that the group would be dead by now or at the very least cut down to bare minimum and doing some heinous shit. Shane and Rick together as partners could be unstoppable and Shane has done so many courageous things to the point Rick and Lori and Carl all owe him their lives multiple times over but the bad stuff he's done and the stuff he's willing to do? I dunno man, we can't say he's a good dude 🤣 I don't agree with all the people saying we should hate him but I don't like you guys seem to favour him over Rick 🤷🏻‍♂️ i just wish you'd see the bad stuff at least 🤣🤣

Eagle Myles

Lori being in Spartan's Top 5 Characters of All Time list is just crazy to me. I don't get what he sees in her.

Fuzzy Dunlop

"Also I raised up my gun against him in S1 and considered killing him, and I tried to RAPE his wife at the CDC" - S&P: "I get it BUT..."

Julien

"Hi I'm Shane. I'm suppose to look out for my dead best friend's family but I started sleeping with his wife. And even when I find out he's alive, I'm still trying to get in her pants" - Pudgy and Sparta: "OMG Shane's amazing!" LMAO

Andy Eggroll

I don't think Lori has any feelings for anyone, but herself to be honest. Fucked Rick's best friend at the first opportunity. Gaslit the shit out of Shane at the first opportunity upon Rick showing up. Tried to get rid of Carl by attempting to talk Rick into just letting him die after getting shot at the first opportunity. Tried to abort the baby at the first opportunity, and with neither potential father's input whatsoever. There is only one narcissist to this point in the show, and it isn't Rick or Shane.

Frank

One of the greatest episodes of the entire show👏

Brandon Moore

they definitely aren't saying that tho. Ive been vehemently against their pro-shane takes, but they've said several times that they think lori should be "honest" and simply acknowledge shane's feelings about all of this.

pilbil

thats one thing i will say. i think they have a FAIR perspective and opinion on rick. Most ppl are just blindly pro-Rick when he's frequently in the wrong. Especially in future seasons

pilbil

hating shane is genuinely a highlight from this season.

pilbil

they should lame Rick?? Why??

Sahae

Ok the reactions are fun, apart from the Shane glazing, but you guys have got to STOP blaming Lori for getting pregant. It takes two to tango, a woman doesn't get pregnant on her own lol. Don't see you guys blaming Shane/Rick for it..

Katieee120

These comments are so hilarious, its like we're reliving season 2 again in real time haha if u dared to like shane they used to rip you apart lol

Patrick Alvarez

Y’all rooting for the shit characters cracks me up but in a good way because most reactors are always super pro Rick when he spends a lot of time being wrong, you’ll see.

Ludus Aurea

Until I started watching your reaction to The Walking Dead I really thought I was Shane’s biggest fan but y’all are on a different level haha. Shane 100% would have left Rick behind had the tables been turned in this episode. Why does Rick get to make the decisions? Because it’s his wife and son (and potentially unborn kid). Imagine being in Rick’s shoes, your best friend starts thinking he has a right to your family because he slept with your wife while you were in a coma.. most people would have beaten the hell outa Shane by now. I love Shane’s character he’s one of my all time favorites, but he’s for sure in the wrong.

Rob Michael

First of all - love y'all so much. Though I don't think it's fair the double standard you guys have for Rick - if Rick was the one in the bus, I genuinely think Shane would have left Rick behind. But I have a feeling it would have been justified to you because Shane "does what needs to be done" but because you know Rick is a good person, you hold him to a higher standard. Try to remember that Rick didn't do anything wrong in this scenario. He woke up none the wiser to the new reality and fought tooth and nail to get his family and then found out his best friend filled his role with his family, and has since been trying to go behind his back to keep them and undermine him at every turn to his wife and to the group as a whole.

Baleigh Linker

“Whyd you take his gun” “idk”

Nate

You 2 make it like Laurie owes Shane a relationship because he looked out for them which is sick in itself🤦🏽‍♀️

Jarrica Hennigan

Yall keep talking up for Shane as if he had a family and a relationship with Laurie for years when it was only months… he had a job of protecting his best friend family that he took on and no one told him to try to replace Rick by pretending to be Laurie husband and Carl new dad so please stop justifying that narcissist behavior from him that’s all most of us are asking from yall

Jarrica Hennigan

I don't think Lori has feelings for Shane, or at least none either should seriously entertain. I don't think they had some genuine love affair, they just went through a traumatic event with each other and they both possess the desirable parts.

pilbil

exactly I can’t believe they don’t understand Maggies point of view

AzKayla .

Nah Maggie had every right to blame Andrea lol. She trusted her with her sister to make sure she doesn’t hurt herself

AzKayla .

Rick gets to make that call because he's not a sick mofo...like Shane.

Carrie Petty

It's in the main feed, but not in the collection.

Branden Findeisen

If you give my suicidal family member a knife after it's already been taken away, we're going to have bigger issues than just being banned from the house. Andrea can feel however she wants about it. She shouldn't get involved.

Branden Findeisen

am i tripping or can i not see 2x9. is it just me

cody

Where is 2x9? Did I miss something?

Shane isn't smart. This episode proves it. He's always quick to pull out his gun. Shane is all about doing things the easiest ways possible. Rick has patience, wisdom; he doesn't fly off the handle. Lure the walker. Kill him silently. Prevent more walkers from coming. Shane tosses an industrial wrench at Rick's head and causes the entire mess. He deserved to be left there.

Demented Avenger

After 11 seasons and thousands of walkers, the lonely walker in the open field this episode is, for me, the most iconic and memorable one. Great representation of Shane's loneliness and detachment from Rick and the group. There's no going back from here, unfortunately. Man, I miss these early seasons so much, peak television. You can either love or hate Shane, but you absolutely can't deny he is the reason those old twd days were THE BEST. Very misunderstood character and, more important, really ahead of it's time. Personally, I will always be #TeamShane

Facundo Fernandez

we get it you dont like shane lol, damn 3 comments in 10 mins XD

Crispin

Rick was beyond fair with Shane this episode..he coulda put Shane down this episode and would've been more than justified.

Johnny_Raincloud

Absolutely loved how Rick put Shane in his place. He talked to him like he was disciplining a kid. "How about you look at me?" Shane didn't come all the way clean either. He's just being Shane...telling just enough truth to stay outta Rick's red zone of being feral and dangerous

Johnny_Raincloud

Lol I really don't know how esle to say it. The truth is Shane contemplated killing Rick. (and probably does every night before he goes to sleep). He Actually killed Otis in the most gruesome and cowardly way possible. He tried forcing himself on Lori at the CDC, and he constantly lies to Lori, not to protect Lori for Lori's sake...but for his own selfish reasons.

Johnny_Raincloud

Bless your guys heart, your always trying to see the good in people's character, you wouldn't last a day in the walking dead universe 😆 But at least you would be trying to see the good in the world and that's the sort of person it want in my group 😊 #bestwalkingdeadreaction
