Have a baby when you have some stability and security, not when you're barely surviving. if the baby is the reason more people die than that's leading everyone closer to extinction and the baby cant defend itself. of course the species needs to reproduce once they find some stability

I don't get why people say you shouldn't have the baby in a time like that. Having babies is literally the most important thing. Why survive when you are the last ones to do so. How selfish would that be. The survival of the species should be number one priority in any apocalypse, and that only works with babies, lots of them!

It seems this season is better to sync up with your version for me <3 Because the 1-2 seconds of black screen between some scenes are in my version as well now. So no resyncing required every couple of scenes like it used to be in season 1-2

Excellent intro to the season! Especially the cold open. So efficient, not a single line of dialogue. Freaking love this episode!!! Love the love like dislike too! I think Rick’s frustration with the can of dog food was just hunger and disappointment when finding out it’s not edible. maybe also his prideful way of telling the group “we’re not this far gone to be considering eating this”. I think that’s why I somewhat disagree with you guys when you say that Rick is risking everyone just for him and Lori. It’s def his main motivation but the whole group was exhausted and starving and needed a place to sit still. They needed to get inside the prison for the food and supplies so it’s them working together for all of them really.

I think Rick is being cold to Lori now, bc last ep she basically pushed him away, and looked at him like he’s a monster! And I think that’s what reached his breaking point with her. Like the one time he needed her in that moment she didn’t want to hear it.

Interesting first ep of season 3. I loved the first time we see the new woman with the walker pets get a twofer with the sword going through the walkers. Andrea's cough sounds really bad. She could have caught anything given the unsanitary living conditions, no vaccines, preventative care. I like Pudgey's "ass end of winter" comment. Lori and Hershel are both in a precarious place, frightening. My loves so far: Rick and Glen, likes: Hershel and Daryl. Dislikes: I don't have any now. I never hated anyone even though I did hate Shane's actions but liked his character. Merle I hated but he has been off the radar.

About the can of food, it was dog food. So I think they were considering eating it and Rick didn’t want them to have to stoop to that level. It was kind of like a symbol of them giving up hope and Rick rejecting that.
