One of my biggest regrets on the show is Miller saving Diego. Naomi taking him out with the elevator was epic Lol … that boy is just annoying.

2025-10-17 11:46:29 +0000 UTC@ Spartan "No plans survive contact with the enemy" It means that you can not account for everything, something will inevitably go south. You do your best and try to plan for every possible threat but it's very likely that something will happen that you missed or something that had so little chance to happen will happen and your plan now is useless. From a military standpoint its best to maximize your unit's effectiveness and flexibility and make sure they're up to the highest possible standard. It's good to be aware of the possibilities but in combat there is chaos and when stuff happens you will have to adapt to the new situation on the fly and the fastest you can do it the bigger the chance for success. Basically prepare as much as you can but dont overthink stuff just be ready to adapt.

They lined it up with the end of the season because they thought they might have to end the series, since funding was iffy. So, they needed a finale that made sense as a place to end. Then Amazon bought the series and they shot three more seasons. Those have each book entirely within its cooresponding season. There are actually 9 books but they decided to end with book six because of a major time jump in the story which would have been very difficult to properly represent.
