I didn't realize the Chanukah song wasn't internationally known until now - Michael actually did a phenomenal rendition here. If you want to truly become American (sometimes), you've gotta know the Chanukah song

It was right after she was just telling the doctor guy about Michael and he did not get what was funny about it which got her thinking about Jim. In my mind, I’ve always wondered what he thought when he saw her text the next day and if he decided to text her back or not. I’ve spent way too much time watching and thinking about this show in the last 20 years. 😂😆

He came up with a song for Hanukkah as he felt the Jewish community needed their own holiday song to compete with Christmas carols. Michael's rendition at the end of the episode is basically the same tune just with changed lyrics. Also Steve Carell has been married to his wife since 1995 so prior to The Office.
