All I can see when I look at Edmure is Jack Randal from Outlander.

2025-11-22 15:10:40 +0000 UTCsomething i think goes underappreciated is how cool edmure is being about the frey deal compared to robb. not only is he agreeing to marry an unknown person, hes going along with harrenhal being given to the freys. theyre getting the biggest castle in the riverlands on top of already having the twins, while the tullys only have riverrun. couple this with the fact that hes marrying a frey and therefore acknowledging them as not so beneath him, and you can see why i'd imagine many lords wouldnt be okay with this deal as it gives the freys a position that you could say inherently sort of challenges house tully's power over the riverlands. but edmure accepts it for the sake of the greater cause. contrast this to robb, who dismisses edmure's initial disagreement by saying "we're fighting for the north, harrenhal is not in the north", which to me comes off as very rude towards edmure and the other riverlords who have fought with him.

2025-11-16 20:22:50 +0000 UTCSee this is why the long outros are so precious. We need these 'it's clicked' moments captured on camera for all to see and enjoy, lol. Love this for us. π

2025-11-16 03:10:18 +0000 UTC1:29:57, Looks like you guys may have had a eureka moment. I know some people say it's really obvious, but I don't think it's that easy to figure out, with all the information thrown at you during this show. There are some other clues about the identity of Theon's captor that will probably hit you later.

2025-11-16 02:36:18 +0000 UTCAgreed! Damo and Nick grasp everything much quicker than I did on my first watch.

2025-11-16 02:00:42 +0000 UTCI would say it's definitely not obvious who has captured Theon on a very first watch. On a rewatch and with hindsight sure there's plenty of hints but it's just one of those things that's easy to overlook with all the different storylines going on all at once. I've seen plenty of reaction channels that don't get it. Kudos to you fellas for figuring it out! One other hint that didn't get mentioned is the horn blower. Theon curses whoever is blowing the horn while he's surrounded in Winterfell at the end of season 2. In this season we see two different occasions of Theon's captor blowing a horn at him. :)
