They did an interview with the creators of the show and they said the only thing they regretted was not showing that Michael was still with Holly in the finale. A lot of fans at the time were gutted that wasn't made clear. Besides Jim and Pam, that was definitely a relationship we were all rooting for. Also in the finale, fun tidbit, when they took a picture in front of the mural, all the rest of the people in the crowd other than the actors were all the production crew of the show so it was actually accurate when Pam said the line, "I meant just the people in the office."

2025-12-25 23:32:51 +0000 UTCI really enjoyed rewatching this with you guys. I find Nick's sentiment at the end about being ready for a rewatch relatable. As it was airing I loved the show, but I wouldn't rate it above some of my favorite comedies. I've since rewatched it so many times that it has become my favorite. I can sit down and rewatch any episode of Friends, Cheers, Seinfeld, etc., and thoroughly enjoy it, but there's something special about The Office that makes you want to rewatch the entire series beginning to end.

I was a massive fan of his going back to his days on the Daily Show in the late 90s early 2000s and it killed me when he left. I did watch the entire finale however and it was so much fun. Just wanted to say thanks to you guys for watching the show and providing us all with a great experience. Others have probably said it best that The Office is definitely a "comfort show" in the same way a grilled cheese sandwich is a "comfort food" for us Americans. It's just always there, it's reliable, and it never lets you down or fails to make you feel good. Thanks for the ride! Loved watching you both crack up at the Stress Relief episode most of all :)
