2025-12-27 21:46:02 +0000 UTCYes!! My favorite feel-good show!! Michael Schur, one of the writers for The Office, originally conceived Parks and Rec as a spinoff of the Office. There was going to be an episode of The Office that followed a used photocopier from Dunder Mifflin getting sold to local government and ending up in the parks department. But once they cast Rashida Jones as Ann, they moved away from the spinoff to Parks & Rec being its own thing. It's fantastic that you already like it so well because season 1 is by far the roughest. It gets better season over season and is just the most wonderful, heartwarming ride.
