What Brianna said. And it's also a tell that she *really* likes jake. As a friend, and a coworker, and also she is really interested romantically, not in a casual way. Very very reasonable for her to hesitate when they could go as badly as her and Teddy did. The stakes are very high for them to get in a relationship, while working in the same squad. She could lose him as a friend and a coworker, and a breakup would impact their careers. She has had plenty of time to overthink these details. And the double tuck thing is specific to Amy, it's not a general thing that women do overall. It's just something Rosa noticed that Amy does.

But in my experience, just because a woman says something like what Amy said doesn't mean they'll actually follow it. They often say stuff like that to convince themselves even though deep down they know they feel the opposite.
