2025-01-22 18:54:29 +0000 UTCQuick story about Foster getting his break at Wrexham (I'm writing this before watching the reaction but I'm pretty sure they don't mention it, if they do ignore this!). Foster was on loan from Stoke City to Wrexham and played I think 20 matches or so with them. Darren Ferguson, Ser Alex's son, who's now Peterborough's manager, played for many years with Wrexham (over 300 matches). Ser Alex came to the Racecourse for a small league cup final to watch his son play, and while there saw Foster starting in goal. That's what led to Foster going to Man United and catapulting his career. That's why he credits Wrexham for his rise.
