They were trying to get to the next step of welfare benefits, which included drug addiction (crack) and obviously Dee and her mental issues. So they "had" to do crack so that their doctor could do a blood test showing they had done crack.....unfortunately of course they missed that appoint by an hour (and a day lol). Damn crack!!!
