Michael was for once, acting like the person I'd want in that scenario if I were in Andy's situation. I'll take the drive-off bombshell over weeks of silence any time. I think Michael DOES help with sales. We've seen him in the first scene of the series help Jim finish a sale he couldn't on his own and Michael, despite wasting time with silliness, does allow for a much more relaxed office in terms of bureaucratic BS. For example, Jim is also a solid seller, and maybe having the space to prank most of the day helps him do that... he just needs to mess around for a bit in between concentrated sales efforts. I'd like to think the cleaning crew just puts the weapons back after cleaning.

2025-03-06 10:45:43 +0000 UTCMy personal theory as to why the branch has such good numbers is that Dwight is the best salesman in the company, and that comment Kevin made in “the Convict” about how what Martin did to land him in prison sounds exactly like what Kevin does every day. I think Kevin is accidentally cooking the books. Just a fan theory.
