Speaking of the guy with a hat as a hateable character, I listened to an interview with him a few weeks ago, turns out he is the creator of the show! He also directed the Friday Nights Film and directed a fantastic movie, Lone Survivor, which stars among others Riggs as a Navy SEAL.

2025-03-23 22:12:58 +0000 UTCNot hearing much about the reboot. Just that it’s in “development” and that it’s going to be on Peacock. Same creative team. All new cast. Another fictional Texas town that suffers a hit by a hurricane. Nobody is ruling out appearances by the original cast. Riggins actor said he’d be willing to appear in an episode. Coach actor said that nobody has approached him. I think it would be smart to bring back a few characters if possible.
