The breakup between Oscar and Gil was never directly stated, but I think in the Beach Day episode Oscar admitted he was "looking for a way out" of that relationship.

2025-03-25 00:36:31 +0000 UTCGuys, Oscar's story was about someone in his past. He was in a relationship with the guy Dwight caught him with on the "sick day" however at some point they broke up. I think on the trip to Canada he mentioned it to Andy. On a side note, this season's final episode is a good one.
